About the Songwriters
The Danbury Songwriters is not a band; we are an event.

Living in and near the ancient Sauratown Mountains are many talented artists of all mediums. Most certainly that includes the musical arts and the mysterious craft of songwriting. Our Summer Performance Series feature many of these wonderful and unique musicians every Thursday at 7PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The Danbury Songwriters should not be confused with an open mic because we’re not a venue for those in the early stages of their musical careers. Our musicians have been performing for years. And we don’t restrict our performances to all original songs, although these are often in the mix.
Usually two musicians perform (one set each) and we promise everyone a great evening of family entertainment. Our performances are over around 9PM so visitors have plenty of time to return to campsites and cabins at Hanging Rock State Park and other nearby campgrounds before closing.
